What does it mean to explore the world one wine at a time?

You see it on our Facebook page, here on bridgewaterwines.com, in our emails and basically everywhere else we communicate with you. But what do we mean when we invite you to “explore the world one wine at a time?”

The world of wine is a big place; with grapes ranging from Assyrtiko to Zibbibo and wine-producing countries that you wouldn’t expect (China, India and Tanzania to name just a few). It can be overwhelming for sure, and it’s tempting to retreat into the safety of familiar Cabernet, Merlot or Pinot Grigio. And that’s where we come in. We’ll always have new and interesting wines open to taste, always for free! The more you taste, the more you learn. And if you don’t like one, that’s ok too; at least know you’ll know that you don’t like it! Every wine you taste helps you build your wine knowledge and broadens your experience. So come in to Bridgewater and start becoming a Wine Explorer yourself!
